REQUIREMENTS :

- Balong USB loader, for loading the bin files(flashing).
- Bin files and firmware all in the zip file provided below.
HOW TO UNLOCK.
First, start by installing the drivers for your Huawei MIFI modem.
Now unscrew them modem and perform a boot shot(short circuit) as in the pictures below.
Now open Balong USB Downloader and click on "DETECT", scroll down the dropdown menu and verify if the detected com port is the correct one.
Once the correct com port is detected, click on the three dots (...) on the load box to load the bin files.
Select the "USBLOADER5573-856 BIN FILE " in the bin file folder and click on the "LOAD" button to load the bin file.
After loading the first bin file(this is to prepare the modem for accepting the new update), without closing Balong, open the folder containing the firmware an do the first update by clicking on "E5573s-856_Update_21.315.15.00.00" to install the update.
Once the update is completed, the two indicator lights on the modem will turn on. Remove the battery and reinsert, then perform boot shot for the second time.
Next open Balong and load the second bin(usblsafe-5573s.bin) file in the bin files folder, followed by performing the WebUI update.
To update WebUI, click on Update_WEBUI_17.100.08.01.983 in the firmware folder to install. Once completed, your browser is going to open. All you need to do at this stage is select language and continue to the dashboard.

At this point, your modem has already been unlocked!!!
You just need to configure it as it pleases you by defining an SSID and a Wifi key if you wish.
Not following this tutorial correctly may lead to bricking of your modem. So, I shall not by any means be held responsible for any damage caused on your modem for applying this tutorial. Please do it at your own risk!!!
